How To Edit Live Photos on an iPhone

Change the Key Photo

If you want to change the key photo on a Live Photo, open the image in the Photos app. Then, tap Edit in the upper right corner. Next, tap the Live Photo icon in the bottom left corner.

Now, you can tap the photo to select a new key photo. To set it, just tap Make Key Photo.

Add a Live Photo Effect

Live Photos is a new camera feature introduced with the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus that brings your photos to life. A Live Photo captures moments before and after you take a photo. 

To change the Live Photo effect, tap on the Live Photo icon and then tap on the new effect you want to apply. You can also use the editing tools to crop, filter, adjust your Live Photo and remove background from image free.

When you’re finished, tap on “Done” in the upper right-hand corner.

Adjust the Length of a Live Photo

There are a few ways to edit Live Photos on your iPhone. One way is to adjust the length of the Live Photo. To do this, open the Live Photo in the Photos app, tap Edit, and use the slider at the bottom of the screen to adjust the length of the Live Photo.

Live photos are a fun and interactive way to capture memories on your iPhone. But sometimes, you may want to edit them to adjust the length or to make them into a still photo.

To turn the live photo back on, simply tap the live photo icon again and when you’re done, tap the done icon in the top right corner to save your changes. 

Convert a Live Photo to a Still Photo

Editing live photos is a simple process and can be done right on your iPhone. To convert a live photo to a still photo, simply open the photo in the Photos app, tap Edit, tap the Live Photo icon and tap Done.

This will turn off the Live Photo feature for that photo, meaning it will no longer animate when you view it.
